It is a real pleasure for me to welcome you to this large Burgundian farm dating from the 18th century to share with you an exceptional moment and advise you in discovering the region. La Maison Rouge has six very comfortable accommodations: four charming guest rooms and two atypical gîtes (the Roulotte and the Pigeonnier) on vast grounds with swimming pool and secure parking.

Superb vacation at the Maison Rouge. We stayed there for 6 days with our 2 horses. Ideal for a stopover or for a longer stay. For the horses, the pasture is secured with an electric fence and includes a shelter. Saddlery, boxes and shower for horses available if necessary.
The rooms are clean, comfortable. And to top it all off, a warm welcome, a swimming pool to relax in and a gourmet breakfast with homemade products!

Quiet, charming, rural, very clean, good bedding and tastefully decorated rooms. Karine the owner will welcome you very warmly, is attentive, available and good discussions during the “hearty” breakfast. She speaks English to perfection. Which allowed us all to have pleasant exchanges with a Danish couple. Go there, you will have a great time!
When I was told that there were no more rooms other than the trailer, I honestly cringed. I wasn’t sure I would like it. And yet… Incredible, this trailer has a very optimized layout and, even if it hasn’t been used, WiFi, air conditioning, TV and a kitchenette. In fact, if it is offered to you, don’t doubt this trailer for a second: it’s exactly like a hotel room, with a bathroom and maybe even a little extra comfort because it’s located at the back from the gîte, it is located in the calm of the countryside and you can’t even hear the sheep which are not far away. The +: there is even a small relaxation area outside for sunbathing or an aperitif. Or both. The breakfast, taken with the other guests, is not to be outdone with the zucchini jam prepared by the mother or the homemade yogurts of our hostess Karine… and everything that I forgot because I eat little in the morning .

The answers to your questions
In order to best organize your visit, you will find some useful information below. To find out more, consult our Prices & practical information section.
Arrivals and departures
Arrivals
You can access the property and take possession of your accommodation between 4:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Please let us know your arrival time 24 hours in advance.
Departures
On the day of departure, keys must be returned before 10 a.m. At the end of your stay, you must return the keys and leave the property by 10 a.m. maximum.
Installments/balance
For guest rooms, a deposit of 50% of the amount of the stay will be requested upon reservation, the balance being payable on site.
For lodgings, a deposit of 30% of the total amount of the stay is requested upon reservation, the balance being due 30 days before the date of the stay. Any reservation made within 30 days of the date of stay must be paid in full.
The reservation is considered final after receipt of confirmation from us.
Terms of cancelation
Any cancellation must be stipulated in writing (e-mail or post). If the tenants or guests do not show up on the rental start date, the reservation becomes void and the owner may dispose of the accommodation. The amounts paid also remain with the owner. If the stay is shortened, the rental price remains with the owner. No refunds will be made.
Guests rooms
Refund of the deposit possible in the event of cancellation more than 15 days before the arrival date, no refund within 15 days, no reason for cancellation will be accepted.
Cottages
Cancellation more than 2 months before arrival: the deposit will be refunded.
Cancellation less than 2 months: the deposit remains with the owner.
Cancellation less than 1 month before arrival: the entire price of the stay remains with the owner.
Breakfast
Breakfasts are served between 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on weekdays and between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on weekends and public holidays.
Lunch and dinner
A dedicated covered area is available for lunch at midday. We offer meal boards in the evening. Remember to book!
Fridge
A refrigerator is at your disposal to keep your food and drinks cool.
Wine storage
You can store your wine purchases free of charge in ideal conditions.
Swimming pool
The swimming pool is at your disposal throughout your stay. You will be able to access it only after your entry from 4:30 p.m. If you stay several days, you can enjoy it in the morning on your second day.
Pets
Pets are not allowed. If presented with an animal, we will refuse the stay and no refund can be made.
Horses
We have all the facilities necessary to accommodate horses (pastures, saddlery, hay). See options when booking.
Parking for cars - motorbikes - bicycles
La Maison Rouge has closed and secure parking. A covered space for motorcycles and bicycles is also possible. Your vehicles will therefore be safe there, which will prevent you from unloading everything during a stopover on a longer journey.
